Become a VOLUNTEER 
 

Backpack Buddies relies heavily on volunteers to help support our mission. Volunteer shifts take place at our warehouse in Dunwoody.

Volunteer shifts may vary but would average two hours.

For any roles that involve handling packaged food, you must be able to bend and lift at least 30 pounds.

Regular volunteer hours during school:
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
9:00AM - 11:00AM
11:00AM - 1:00PM

Three steps to become a volunteer

  2. Become a site member

  3. Book your shift(s) online

After you complete each step, you will get an email with instructions for the next step.

Examples of roles to fill:​

Pick Up, Deliver, and/or Unpack Food at the Facility

Assist with Community Events
