On Sunday, May 7th, Sandy Springs resident and 3rd grader Zachary Rubin held his second annual charity concert in his backyard. This year, the young signer-songwriter chose to split the proceeds between Backpack Buddies of Metro Atlanta and the Humane Society.
Zach beautifully played seven songs - one of them an original - to the adoring audience. In total, $1,200 was raised, with half ($600) being pledged to Backpack Buddies.
The attached THANK YOU presentation was created by the creative youngster. We are grateful for talented, empathetic, and generous children like Zach who, even at such a young age, see the importance of taking care of those in need.
