Backpack Buddies of Metro Atlanta is proud to commemorate a major milestone—our 1 Millionth Meal packed and delivered! Our dedicated Community Buddies at YMCA Fowler, with the help of Psi Omega Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority,  prepared this special meal and delivered it to a deserving child at Hightower Elementary School. It represents more than just a number; it symbolizes the thousands of children whose weekends have been filled with nourishment, comfort, and hope. Thanks to our incredible community of volunteers, donors, and partners, we’ve made a lasting impact in the fight against weekend hunger—and we’re just getting started. Here’s to the next million meals and the lives we’ll continue to touch together.
