A Night to Remember. An Impact That Lasts.

Thank you for helping us light the way to a healthier tomorrow.

On August 29, 2026, our community came together at Dunwoody Country Club for the Backpack Buddies of Metro Atlanta Starry Nights Gala. What began as an evening of celebration became an extraordinary demonstration of what is possible when a community comes together to fight childhood hunger.

Together, we raised $813,000 to help provide nutritious weekend meals to children across Metro Atlanta.

Because Hunger Doesn't Take the Weekend Off

Every weekend, thousands of children across Metro Atlanta face a gap in access to nutritious meals when school is not in session.

Backpack Buddies of Metro Atlanta works to close that gap by providing kid-friendly, nutritious weekend meals to children experiencing food insecurity.

The support generated through Starry Nights will help us continue serving 3,000 children each week while moving us closer to our long-term vision of reaching 10,000 children every week by 2033.
